How long does it take to process an item?
For already made items purchased in the shop, processing time is 3 business days from your purchasing date, which gives me time to package and ship out your item. Once your item is shipped, I will send you email confirmation with tracking information.
Estimated shipping times & policies
I ship packages via two options: Spanish post priority mail or UPS expedited.
If your order is above $300 and you are based in North America, I will send it via UPS (on the house). It is tracked, insured, signed for and arrives in 2-3 business days.
If you would like to insure your package and get it quickly, but the value is below 300 euros, you can select the UPS express shipping for 20 euros at checkout if you’re located in the U.S. or Canada.
For Oceania, most of Asia and Europe I will automatically insure any priority class packages that are above $200. Any orders below this value can have insurance added to them, just add the insurance option at checkout. For other parts of the world, please send an inquiry and I will check the cost of insuring a package.
Spanish post priority class mail is tracked and signed for.
Estimated delivery times:
North America: 5-15 business days
Europe: 3-10 business days
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 7-20 business days
North Africa and the Middle East: 7-21 business days
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but unfortunately cannot guarantee them.
I am happy to help you try to recover a package if you suspect that it has been lost in the mail. However, I am not responsible for lost or stolen mail and therefore do not offer refunds in these scenarios. If the item was insured, I can file a claim with the postal service and send you the value of the insurance money once it has sent it to me. Please carefully inspect your packages before accepting them. Accepting an opened or damaged package makes it difficult to file an insurance claim and unlikely that you will receive reimbursement.
Please double check the address that you provided at check out, spelling errors can cause shipping delays, or result in a package circulating through the mail until it returns to me.
All international duties, taxes or other import fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check your countries import policies before making a purchase.
Can I return or exchange an item?
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations, but please, items must be in the same condition that I sent them in.
All you need to do is contact me within 7 days of delivery.
The item must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery
If you need to request a cancellation, please do so within 24 hours of purchase.
Conditions of return items
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original condition, or the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value.
If you have questions about your order, email me or contact me via Instagram and I’ll respond to you within 24 hours.
Also! Pease get in touch with me if you have a problem with an order or if you aren’t 100% convinced with your purchase. This is a labor of love for me and I take the entire process to heart. The last thing I want is for someone to be unsatisfied or disappointed with a piece of jewelry that was intended to be enjoyed. I use quality materials and strive to craft something you will love wearing. However, buying on the internet means that there are certain design aspects of an item that we can only truly appreciate once we have the item in front of us. Please reach out and we can discuss a solution.
Do you have payment plans available?
Art should be accessible to everyone and I understand that certain higher value items may be difficult to pay for all at once. At checkout you can opt to use paypal which has a pay in 4 option, allowing you to pay for an item of any value in four, interest-free payments.
If you are interested in purchasing a jewelry item from a shop update, I recommend looking into this option prior to the sale so that you have all of your information ready ahead of time.
______________________
I also accept payment plans via PayPal on items over $200. Here’s how it works:
The item must be on my website for at least 24 hours before it is eligible for this kind of payment plan.
To set up a payment plan, please contact me via email or Instagram and let me know which item you are interested in. An invoice will will be sent to you through PayPal.
To reserve a piece, you must make an initial payment that is at least 25% of the total cost. The total cost will include shipping and insurance. After that, you will have three more payments to spread out over the course of 60 days. Any payments made after the initial 25% deposit can be paid at your convenience as long the item is paid in full within 60 days.
Payments must be paid upon the times we agreed to. If they aren’t and the buyer fails to reach out to me, I will have to cancel the plan and put the item up for sale again. Only 50% of the completed payments will be refunded.
What’s the best way to care for my jewelry? How can I clean it?
To keep your jewelry looking it’s best:
Apply beauty products such as makeup, perfume, hairspray or deodorant before wearing your jewelry as certain chemicals in these products may damage the patina finish on your jewelry. Some natural stones are also delicate and can be damaged by these chemicals.
Always remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners. Stones like opals, Mexican amber and turquoise can be scratched or cracked if exposed to anything that’s abrasive or if they impact a surface. It’s not to say that these things will happen, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Treat your jewelry with care.
Metals may tarnish over time as they are exposed to oxygen & the natural oils of your skin. To remove oil and dirt, use warm, soapy water. Avoid using chemical cleaning solutions.
In the case of tarnish, use a polishing cloth to remove any unwanted tarnish.
Enamel pieces consist of glass fused to a metal surface and for this reason should be handled with care. Avoid dropping your enamel jewelry, as it could potentially cause the glass to crack or chip upon impact. Store your enamel jewelry separate from other items to avoid potentially scratching the glass surface.
Do you do jewelry repairs?
I only repair jewelry pieces that I have made. Should you need a piece repaired, please contact me so that we can discuss a solution. If a jewelry item has broken because of an oversight or error on my end, I will cover the full cost of the shipping back and forth as well as the labor. Should it break because of an error on your end (being rough, wearing jewelry to play sports, not removing it before going to bed, or not following the other jewelry care recommendations stated above) I will need you to send me detailed photos of the damage and I will send you an estimate for the repair before agreeing to the work. I do not guarantee that I can repair an item, it is always dependent on what kind of damage has been done.
Enamel jewelry should be repaired by someone who specializes in the medium and the specific method of enameling. For this reason any enamel pieces that you have purchased from me should be sent only to me for repairs. Should they be first sent to another jeweler for repairs, I will not take the responsibility of repairing a piece that has already been tampered with by another person.
I work with natural stones which on occasion have inclusions. To some they may appear as “cracks” on the inside of the stone but they are in fact part of the natural formation and do not jeopardize the integrity of the stone.
Can rings be resized?
Some of my rings can be resized, but that mostly depends on the design. Rings with wider bands and wire embellishments are difficult to resize and risk being damaged in the resizing process. Always check ring descriptions in shop update previews or reach out about resizing before a sale. If a ring can be resized, two sizes larger is usually the maximum (this depends on the material thickness). Always feel free to reach out if you have questions or concerns!
Are you taking custom orders?
At present I’m not taking any custom orders. I will open custom slots from time to time, which will be made available for purchase in the form of a deposit via my website. This slot availability is announced on my Instagram and in newsletters. Engagement pieces take priority and are accepted at any time.
